Under the umbrella of the Alliance for Excellence, the Executive
Women's Alliance works with individuals and corporations to retain
and advance women in leadership positions.
The Executive Women’s Alliance was founded in 1996 by Dr.
Carol Gallagher to provide forums for executive and managerial
women of large corporations and organizations to discuss critical
business and leadership issues. EWA programs and events include:

Going to the Top ® Leadership Series
Just behind the vanguard and eager to rise is the next generation
of executives -- thousands of women in the middle ranks of management.
There’s a perception that talent and commitment should ensure
executive advancement but, in reality, it takes more
To help women ascend, A4E offers the Going to the Top ®
Leadership Series for women on their way to the top. Here, senior
women who have found and climbed through "windows" in
the glass ceiling share the lessons they've learned en route
to senior leadership roles.
These workshops enable women in mid-level management to map upward-bound
career strategies with guidance from business leaders. Through
a "coaching circle" of peers and senior executives,
tomorrow's leaders identify the steps they must take to achieve
their goals.

The Leadership Alliance™
Another program we offer for mid-management women is The Leadership
Alliance. This is a one-year intensive, executive development
program for high-potential women three to four levels from the
CEO. The Leadership Alliance sessions include 360-degree assessments
and feedback benchmarked to the skills and behaviors of senior
executives, one-on-one executive coaching, peer group coaching,
and outside speakers.
